Debra Borden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and New Jersey who has worked with individuals and families for the past 16 years.
Debra received her MSW from Fordham University and her BA from The University of Michigan. She is the author of two books, Lucky Me and A Little Bit Married (Random House) and her humorous essays on family, life and career, have appeared in The New York Times and Women’s Health Magazine. Currently she writes freelance for Realage.com, the online health and wellness site of Dr’s. Oz and Roizen.
Through her private practice, Counseling2Go, and now through the NJ Women’s Wellness Center, she provides psychotherapy to clients in the privacy of their homes or our office. Debra specializes in Anxiety and Phobias and Women’s Issues and Life Transitions. As a proponent of Brief or Solution-focused Therapy, Debra believes in time-limited services that will empower clients to create manageable and attainable goals.
