I am 66 years old and have experienced lower back pains for many years. Three years ago my back pains increased to the point that I could barely walk and couldn’t play golf or do everyday tasks. After consulting an orthopedic surgeon, I found I needed right hip surgery which incapacitated me for several months after a dislocation.
I then had several months of therapy which included physical therapy, heat, ice and electrical therapy. I felt only slightly better. I then consulted Montvale Health Associates for treatment including spinal decompression. After 20 of the 28 treatments, I found I could stand and walk for longer periods of time, and had substantially less pain when getting out of bed in the morning.
After physical therapy and the spinal decompression, I am able to walk and exercise more which will hopefully continue to improve my back problems. All the therapists at Montvale Health were very caring and attentive to my condition and I would especially like to thank Mara and Tom for their help.
