Spinal Decompression Therapy (DRX9000)

Spinal Decompression Therapy: A Non-invasive Treatment for Back Pain.

If you struggle with chronic back pain and its related symptoms, and you have found no relief, our expert team as Montvale Health Associates is here to help. All back pain sufferers get a complete evaluation, and non-surgical decompression therapy is an option for selected patients.

Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and clinical studies have shown this breakthrough technology particularly helpful for those with low-back pain. It can be a successful, alternative treatment for relieving low back, neck pain, and radiating arm and leg pain.

How Spinal Decompression Therapy Works

Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine, which changes the force and position it incurs. This takes pressure off the spinal disks, the gel-like cushions located between the bones in your spine.

This therapy may cause bulging or herniated disks to retract, thus taking pressure off the nerves and other structures in the spine. This, in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks, enabling their healing.

Conditions Treated by Spinal Decompression Therapy

    • Chronic back pain
    • Disk injuries in the neck and low back
  • Degenerative disk disease
  • Relapse or failure of surgery
  • Facet Syndromes
  • Sciatica

What is DRX9000?

The expert team that created the DRX9000, which we use at Montvale Health Associates, consists of engineers who designed for NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense. They have been able to combine technology and science to create the DRX9000, which offers patients an effective alternative to surgery.

According to its manufacturer, Axiom World Wide: “We created the DRX9000™ True Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression™ System to assist healthcare providers in their effort to treat low back (lumbar) pain.” The DRX9000™ provides a primary treatment modality for the management of pain and disability for patients suffering with incapacitating low-back pain and sciatica. The system is designed to apply spinal decompressive forces to compressive and degenerative injuries of the spine. It has been found to provide relief of pain and symptoms associated with posterior facet syndrome, and sciatica.

See What Our Patients Have to Say!

The DRX machine for spinal decompression is the best invention ever. Their treatment worked, and now I feel even better than I did before the sciatica flared up! Plus, I gained an added bonus of getting my abs and core more toned and strengthened.
A sincere thank you to all the staff for helping me become pain free and happy again.

-Lisa A.

Words cannot adequately express my sincere gratitude for the excellent professional and compassionate care I received at your facility. There was a time when I honestly believed that I would never be able to resume a normal pain-free life without surgery.
Over time and with your help, the improvement in my condition has been amazing. The combination of DRX therapy, epidural shots, physical therapy and chiropractic care helped me turn the corner.

-Susan A.

I have three herniations in the lower back, which has left me with reduced range of motion and pain. The DRX treatments have significantly reduced pain and increased my range of motion.
-Dean U.
