Dr. David Levesque, a graduate of The New York College of Podiatric Medicine, is a sports podiatrist and physician specializing in the treatment of sports injuries of the foot, ankle and leg, biomechanical evaluations, and custom sports orthotics.
Dr. Levesque works closely with many local colleges and high school athletic programs, performs clinics and screenings on the prevention and treatment of sports injuries, as well as lectures on these topics. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery to perform foot surgery in those cases that do not respond to conservative care.
Common conditions treated include: plantar faciitis, heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis, fractures of the foot and ankle, shin splints, runners knee, hip and low back pain, iliotibial band syndrome, bunions/hammertoes, neuromas, metatarsal pain, blisters, athletes foot and more.
