Spondylosis is the general deterioration in the spine, including bone spurs or degenerative discs, often caused by osteoarthritis. The most common types of spondylosis are lumbar (lower back) and cervical (neck). Often, patients may not experience painful symptoms until the condition is in an advanced stage and more difficult to treat, so it is imperative that the deterioration is detected before it worsens. We use an X-ray to determine whether you have spondylosis, and identify its cause. Then, we develop a comprehensive plan of care including conservative, non-pharmacological, and non-invasive options.
